Home and Garden Expos 2016
For the first time in our company’s history, we are attending some Home and Garden Expos in the Twin Cities area! We are really focused this spring on bringing in more clients so we can make more people enjoy their outdoor spaces. One way we will expand our reach is by visiting Landscape Shows and meeting more people face to face. So keep reading to see what we’re doing for our booth and when the expos are!
Which expos will KG Landscape be attending?
The first expo on our travel list is the North Metro Home & Garden Show
in Blaine. This is our “hometown” show since our shop is about 5 minutes from the venue. It’s also a nice warm-up for the really large show we’ll be going to at the end of February.
The North Metro Home & Garden Show will take place at the National Sports Center on February 6, 2016 from 10am to 3pm. Be sure to find us! We’ll be at booth #305.
The other show we will be attending is the BIG ONE. It’s the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show
at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Again, we’ve never attended the show as an exhibitor before but we are super excited about it. We love showing off why we are the best choice for landscape design and installation in Minneapolis and St. Paul and what better place than the biggest landscape show in Minnesota? Also, The Property Brothers (Jonathon and Drew Scott) will be visiting the show so you have no excuse not to come say hi to us there.

Saturday, March 5 – 9am to 9pm ****The Property Brothers will be on stage at 1pm. They’re cool so come and see them and say hi to us.

What will our booth look like?
The main feature of the booth will be a wooden trellis/arbor made out of premium cedar wood. This was hand built by our Account Manager, Russell. The trellis will be a huge focal point to attract possible clients to our booth. It also shows off the handcrafted furniture and care that we take for all of our outdoor living space projects that we do. We will also hang a couple designs and a tv off the trellis to show off more of the pictures and videos we have taken recently.
The other main piece to our booth will be a cedar bar also hand built and custom designed by Russell. We did not want just a regular draped table and we would prefer to be on our feet. It adds a more casual, welcoming atmosphere that we want to portray. Again, it also shows our handcrafted and detailed care. We will be distributing bottle openers to visitors to our booth as well to add to that vibe. The design for this bar was taken as inspiration from the planter boxes we have done in the past.
